In spite of high winds and rising tides, our 15th annual Hilo Huli fundraiser on Coconut Island was a rousing success. With over 20 well-stocked vendors and the sweet sounds of Mark Yamanaka, over 750 guests enjoyed a cool and pleasant afternoon thanks to the efforts of our Rotary Club members, friends, families and volunteers. Months of planning and a weekend of back-breaking work ensured our club would raise the funds needed donate to our two prime beneficiaries, The Boys and Girls Club of the Big Island and the Hilo Medical Foundation.
