Tuesday, November 10 Geoff Cochran, the Annual Giving Officer for Rotary International, will be joining our meeting from Rotary International headquarters in Evanston, Illinois. Geoff will talk to us about the many programs that are funded by the dollars that Rotarians donate and how we can play an important role in what Rotary does around the world.
Tuesday, November 17 Farrah-Marie Gomes, the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo, will discuss equity, the Hawaii County Committee on the Status of Women, and the University of Hawaii Commission on the Status of Women. Dr. Gomes previously served as Founding Director of UH Hilo’s North Hawai‘i Education and Research Center and Interim Dean for UH Hilo's College of Continuing Education and Community Service. Dr. Gomes will touch on various forms of equity, look at examples of disparities, and bring to light some actions that can be taken to help bridge equity gaps here locally.

Tuesday, December 1 - Final 2020 Rotary Meeting : The Hilo Club is having a special 100th Anniversary Meeting at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom. We are suspending our regular club meeting at noon and ask our members to attend/support Hilo Club's special meeting as it will be open to all clubs in the District.
